Axxis 273 kom 1999 som en efterföljare till den lite mer slalombetonade (fart) Axxis 272. Recension från surfstore.co.uk:
Having had a very successful innings with the wave orientated 262 and the slalom orientated 272, F2 have updated the whole Axxis range for ’99, to bring their performance characteristics closer together, but at the same time spread the range out by utilising three boards, Replacing the old 272, the new 273 is a totally new shape, being slightly longer and wider further back to have an extra 3 litres of volume, giving it 98 litres in total. Supplied with a 32cm Concrete Wave ‘Convertible’ power box fin, the 273 is built in a durable but very light thermo-formed construction, giving it a very wide range of use. Feeling suitable with sails up to around 6.5m, the 273 still has a performance slightly more bias to slalom than waves as with the old 272, but certain characteristics have allowed it to venture further in to the wave side. Perhaps most importantly, a shorter rocker fat combined with the extra width in the tail has meant despite equally good performance, the 273 rides more off the tail with a slightly slashier feel than the old board. As a result the board rides a bit higher out the water with a much looser freer feel, allowing it to handle rougher water a little easier But if you’re going to spend more time in wavier conditions, then the smaller two Axxis boards will almost certainly suit you a bit better, but for fast freeride slalom blasting with 6.0 plus sails. the 273 is pretty hard to beat. The extra tail width and volume also give the new 273 slightly better early planing, although with a fairly low volume for its length, certain 275’s do plane earlier Once powered up though, it does quickly accelerate and hits a very good top end speed, whilst maintaining very good comfort and control in any water state. The downwind slalomy feel means its not really one for pointing high upwind, but with very fast controlled gybing, it is certainly good fun to sail.

Axxix 272 kom 1996 (tror jag) och har 95 liter, är lite mer slalombetonad som sagt. Planar lite senare och har ett något smalare register.
Axxis 272, 55 bred, 95 liter, 7.2 kg, rek segel 4.6 – 6.6.
Allt detta på andrahandsinfo. Har inte seglat brädorna själv, men tror att 273an är en kul sak! Axxis 267 är väl ännu skojigare! Hoppas att du fått lite mer kött på armarna.
