looking for some windsurfing in stockholm
Just moved to stockholm not long ago and am looking for windsurfing gear,spots and mates. How do i get in to the scen?

Well, this page is a good start. Lots of Stockholm windsurfers visit here.
Besides the spot-infos you’ve already been given, there are also a few clubs in the Stockholm are. On the south, there is among others Tyresö Windsurfing Club (http://www.twc.nu), on the north you can find Järfälla Brädseglingssällskap (JBSS, http://hem.passagen.se/jbss/).
If you have the possibility, go to Öland for the Swedish Champs in Freestyle (4th weekend in May), many windsurfers from Stockholm will be there. An almost certain way to get into the scene. And find out more about the perhaps best spot on the east coast of Sweden – Öland (more info om http://www.owc.nu).
Windsurfing in Stockholm takes a bit of, errr, let’s just call it patience. You’ll need a car. Most spots work in just a couple of wind directions, so we tend to move around a bit. But some spots do offer good to quite good conditions, when it is on (Torö, Väddö, Fituna, Björkvik etc.). And there are a number of spots that are reasonably close to the city (Lidingö, Stora Värtan, Baggensfjärden, Erstaviken, Görvälnsbadet, Lövstabadet, Björköfjärden).
Gear? Depends upon what kind of sailing you want to do. And how often you want to sail.
As much sailing or racing as possible? Formula, or big freerace/freeride gear for sure.
A bit more on the manouver side? Bigger freestyle gear works too, but you’ll have to move around a bit more for wind.
If you are prepared to sail when it is a bit colder (or, to be honest, pretty d**m cold compared with something like Eilat), smaller boards and sails do see their time too, but not as much as we would like.
