  Surfing in Sindsvall

  Hi,

  I am travelling to Sundsvall this summer and I am looking for a place where i could rent a board or by a second hand board.

  Anyone could help me ?

  I don´t know about stores in Sundsvall but in Gävle (maybe 20 miles south of Sundsvall) there is a little store called “sea fun”. The owner is named Ted and the Phonenumber is:

  A correction on the given distance between Sundsvall and Gävle.

  Thomas said 20 miles but that is only about 32 km. The actual distance is more like 200 km is approximately 124 miles.

  The confusion comes from the fact that 200 km is 20 mil (Swedish), not miles.

  I do think that there still is a surfshop in Sundsvall, not a big one but I think they have some w-surfboards. I don´t know the name, but hopefully some of the Sundsvall Surfers, like “Haegga” here on konfen will respond.

  If you travel from soth you will pass Gävle on your way (I have my gear in Gävle).
