showing low pressure centers to the north and NW of Hawaii. One of these lows has a weakening cold front approaching the islands. At the same time we find a weak high pressure ridge south of the islands. This will keep south to SW winds blowing….lcoally gusty.Maui’s North Shore: 10-25 knots

Extended forecast: Mostly south to SW winds through Monday, lighter Tuesday into Wednesaday…then more south to SW winds Thursday into Friday…possible trade winds after next weekend.
