facebook humps users further…
well I decided to follow the rest of the sheep and get a facebook account to see how usefull it would be.. I am still convinced that there are better social network tools out there to let everyone else know when the session is on etc, like surfzone for examlple.
Anyway, it seems that facebook intend to further benifit from using YOUR content to their own financial gain… some details here..
I guess it comes down to what people want to use facebook for…. word of warning though, almost everyone I interview for a job has had some embarrasing shit on facebook that is right there for me to check out… you would be surprising how many brain surgeons I have met that have some seriously dodgy stuff online… this new info means that it will never dissapear!.

Fasen, du har ju blivit en riktig konspirationsteoretiker Skotten. Det är väl bara att välja vilka bilder som läggs upp och ta bort dom som är ”dodgy” eller?
Har du läst alla andra terms and conditions eller EULA du accepterar?? Dom är minst lika vidriga dom.

Hur gör du med bilder som andra lägger upp (där du linslusar)? Blir lite jobbigt att agera FB-polis i längden.

Man kan ju iaf ta bort sin tag så att folk som söker på en inte ser de mer tveksamma bilderna. Sen kan man ju i värsta fall skicka meddelande till personen och snällt be att de tar bort bilden. (vilket jag gjorde en gång i ett annat sammanhang än facebook och fick sen höra på omvägar att fotografen blivit hotad av en arg, biffig jugoslav… hmm… biffig??!? )

Ah ok, jag hade inte koll på att man kan ta bort taggar på foton som andra lagt in; det är ju en bra start.

Facebook är ju rena drömmen mot Steffo. Skotten la upp en bild på mig när jag var på fest i helgen och det kan jag inte göra ett SKIT åt!

I totally agree mate, I have decided to close my account, I cant stand the idea of being tagged in a photo that is sold to people running a campaign to promte anti-drinking laws or something far out on left field..
watch this space, I can do better than facebook!!… may be a little geeky though

Varför gör du en sån stor sak över att du inte har facebook skotten ? Spelar väl ingen roll om du har facebook eller inte.. gnäll inte när någon lägger in en länk här som går till Facebook nu då ?=)

dude I did have facebook… ??? dont come in here less often than you are even on the water, or at my place to hang out and start trouble making.. go put your head back in the sand…… by the way, calle is back from OZ now… should we go invade their place`?
I think that people like JohanW or lets say Matt from NSM should be aware that they no longer own any pics they put up on facebook.. and moreso, anything that you do put up there, may come back to haunt you in the future…
Anyone tried Twitter?
