[img2=left]http://www.nordicsurfers.com/isurf/wp-content/nm11.thumbnail.jpg[/img2]On a mountain drenched in powder the preparations for the Nordic Masters – Snowkite Battle are are speeding up.In a no budget world, the event is all about dedication and hard work in order to snowkite the way it should be. We hand built the kickers, we got the rails and we towed everything up the mountain… all for you guys and you’re invited to rip them with us.
Like last year, our chef will be hitting you up with dogs on the mountain while DJ’s play live for the session. This is the ultimate snowkite battle, a battle for the honour and respect from fellow riders. Forget everything about judges, points and rules. Here there are no rules…
This year we’ll also spice things up a bit, and in addition to sick sessions where the riders choose best trick and style we’re of course first in inventing a new game… Borrowed from the world of paintball we will fight in : “Catch the flag”.
The rules are simple – be first to catch the flag and bring it back…For the ones that understand and appreciate the sport of snowkite, it will be obvious that Nordic Masters is more about the people here than the battle itself. Newbees and pros will ride side by side judged by each other and competing for glory of the Nordic Masters.
The area will be ready from the 26th of March and the battle will go on from the 29th of March to the 1st of April. Everybody is welcome all week.

Ohh yeahh.. The event apparently got attention and one of the world largest TV channels will be here covering the event and interviewing riders.
