Ny kiteolycka!!
Klippte ut detta från det eng kiteforumet. Tragiskt som fan, men borde upplysa några iallafall att inte vara ikopplad nära fundament av olika slag.
The accident happened last Saturday in Walvisbay. The wind was 18 knots to gusting to a max of 25 knots. Thosten use a 12m² North Rhino (could of happened with any Kite). He launched the kite and was overpowered but managed to control it. As he got in to the water he lost his board and could not get to it ant more and got dragged down wind. Now the Lagoon is surrounded by a road which he was going to words. He dragged down wind towards the road where his girl friend was waiting to cache the Kite. He was standing a couple of meter away from the Lagoon wall when a gust lifted him he got slammed against the wall and dragged over the road until the Kite finally crashed. He died of sever Head injures.
