I’ve got the first series/proto’s of the classic-rocket 71, 88 and the rocket 99. From a series later the rocket fish 82. Superb boards. We tested the first series to the max and send in as much comments we had on the boards. Think this happenend on a small scale all around the world. Sean got the comments and worked it out direct.
Some small things that changed in the second series are: footpads, grip, instead of 2 screws per strap it became 4 per strap!, some small changes in building materials.
Boards are made in a small custom factory from Burleigh head.
http://www.b-heads.net/boards/sos_classic.html.The shapes are perfect. Truth is that it are dedicated boards so you must know what you want. I thought that the Classics were pure sideshore bigwave rider sticks, but hey….they score in every condition. They are true frontfoot /rail turners with loads of control
The rocket fish is a real tail turner. so perfect to slash with your back foot.hey do

Yup,
but nothing that bad or so. but if you can make it better direct–do it direct instead of next season/year. Even if it are just some small things.
I hope you also read that Hotsails link I gave you. Sean also came by with some aswers/info. I also got some mails of him. He’s a good guy. Far away from the mainstream…;-) -
