Tragic Accident in ItalyIKO Flash
Always practice safety first IKO would like to send its condolences to the family of the Italian kiter that lost his life in a terrible accident in on Saturday June 20, 2009 in “Campo di Mare” near Rome. We hope that the other kiters involved will make full recoveries and return to the water once again.We all must use this as a reminder to never fly our kites high when on the beach. These men were all experienced but still were caught in an ascencional wind gust of unbelievable force.
Even while speaking on the beach do not fly your kite in zenith. Please land your kite when you get to shore.Let this be a warning from mother nature that we are all vulnerable to her wrath, so always practice safe kiting!

låter som en dag i habo ja.. Men och andra sidan så har vi ju inte så många fralig uppåtvindar. Värre saker finns i habo som farliga nybörjare. Men det går rätt bra…

Tydligen var det nån tromb eller så som lyfte honom och slog honom i en husvägg ett par hundra meter bort.

Och nybörjare är ju enkla att hjälpa så att dom gör som man vill till skillnad ifrån vindar.

Det var tydligen tre kitare som flög iväg. Först lyfte dom 30-40 meter upp i luften. sen lyckades en av dom få kontroll över draken och landade på stranden utan skador, den andra killen flög in i en bil och ligger nu på sjukhus med allvarliga skador. Den tredje flög bakom draken horisontellt i 800 meter för att sedan krasha in i byggnaden.
