trip in January
Hey, so I’m an exchange student in Lund, and just found out today that my next term doesn’t actually start until late January… (I’d be been told initially it would start the beginning of January)
so basically I have two weeks of vacation now, and am thinking of doing a cheap trip somewhere in or near Europe. Does anyone know of any places that might be worth checking out? I’m trying to find somewhere that has constant wind in January, and is relatively cheap!
Any advice would be awesome, thanks!

If you wanna surf I recommend the Canary Islands, especially Pozo on the island Gran Canaria. The wind isn’t constant but it’s the best place near europe.
I’m thinking of going there myself actually..
If you want some closer spots, there is always Guincho in Portugal and Tarifa in Spain but i don’t know about the waves or wind in Spain. The waves and wind in Portugal should be pretty good. It’s not constant wind but it’s constat big waves.
Or maybe Moulay in Morocco? Google the spots for more info.If you’re going for a eurotrip without the board I recommend you to stop by at Chrsitiania in Copenhagen, take the train from Lund to Copenhagen and at the station over there, take bus 88 to Christainshavn or just walk. Bring cash because they don’t take credit card at chris…. 😉
